FAQ
Downloading a full length movie is easy if you are using a relatively new computer (not more than 2-3 years old) with high speed internet access. Here are the answers to some common questions. Most problems are easily solved, we're here to help.

What type of file (movie) will I be downloading and how will I play it?
All of our downloadable movies are in the Quicktime (.mov) format. This easy and popular format allows your movie to either stream or play the movie directly from your hard drive. If you don't have or are unsure if you have a Quicktime player then click here for yor free copy of this popular player. Please note if you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer V5.5, SP2 or 6.0, you may need to download the free Active X controller here to view your movie. This is very fast and easy to do.
What are the system requirements?
We recommend that you have at least a Pentium II, 128MB RAM, 256 color Video Graphics Card, a sound card with external speakers, and high speed internet access. You should also have enough free space on your hard drive to store the files once they are downloaded (approximately 500 Mb per movie). Most newer computers meet these requirements.
How do I watch the movie?
Once you have purchased the movie, you will be at a page with links to Part 1 and Part 2 (for some movies) of your movie. It is very important that you bookmark this page, since it is the only way to access the movie. To watch the movie, simply save the file to your hard drive, or click on the link and you can watch the movie immediately in streaming video.
How long does it take to download a movie?
The time it takes you to download a movie will depend on your interent connection, if you are using cable, DSL, or any high speed connection, it should take about 10 - 20 minutes to download one file (there are 2 files for most movies).
What is streaming video?
Streaming video means that you watch the movie as it downloads to the temporary internet folder, so you can't fast forward past the point that is has downloaded to. Since you are watching the movie as it downloads, you may experience freezing or skipping. This is normal when video is streaming, once the file has completely downloaded, it will play properly. We recommend that you save the file and then watch it. Also, If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer V5.5, SP2 or 6.0, you may need to download the free Active X controller here to view streaming Quicktime movies.
How do I save a file to my hard drive?
In Microsoft Internet Explorer, simply right click on the link to the movie and select 'Save Target As...'
In Netscape, right click on the link to the movie and select 'Save Link Target As...' Be sure and note where you save the file (movie) and what it is called as when you are ready to play it you will need to go there to open or begin the movie.
Why is the movie in 2 parts?
We offer the movies in 2 parts to make downloading the files easier. Each file is about 215 Mb.
I have dial-up internet access, can I download movies?
We do not recommend that dial-up users try to download full length movies. It will take a very long time to download the files, and you will probably run into problems while downloading. We recommend those with dial-up internet access enjoy our online club which has one minute video clips and pics which are well suited for this type of internet access. You may join here.
When I click on the link to watch the movie, it doesn't work!
If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer V5.5, SP2 or 6.0, you may need to download the free Active X controller here to view streaming Quicktime movies.
The movie stops in the middle.
You may not have downloaded the entire file. Each movie file is about 200 - 240 Mb. If the file size doesn't seem right you may want to download the file again.
